How long have you been in business?
I started the planning in late part of 2010, strategized what and how I would acquire the business, getting my licenses, permits and certifications and actually began in January 2012. I began my sales in the summer of that year as I go forward.
What is your primary product or service?
I am a Manufacturer, wholesaler and Retailer of Barbeque Sauce, Barbeque Rubs, and new product development of tomato sauces.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Working a business from the managerial perspective has been a part of my background for the past 30 years. Beginning this business has been a dream of mine that through inventory of my family assets gave me the passion to pursue planning and executing it. Prior to my launching the business I took formal education courses in Business Administration.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I differentiate my product line knowing its features and benefits. while eating and sleeping and finding out more of its uniqueness I am able to elevates it to a higher standard. Most all other barbeque products are dependent on sugars and additives, I adhere to the quality of its ingredients to a healthier more substantial multi-purpose in what and how it can be used.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I am a single entity. My grow is going to come in resourcing it to as many retailers that will buy it and sell it. I will expand it in an upward mobility of grocers, and its growth in distribution to national market grocers, while extending its new product development.
Provide detailed directions to your location
My business is not an open store outlet. I wholesale it to Business to Business. I will on occasion sell it at trade shows for extensive branding only.
What type of payments do you accept?
In direct sales that I facilitate are all major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
I am limiting my company's resources to Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico for my immediate niche and growth presently. In the future I will expand as the company and product line grows.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I owe 100% of Apetito Co. LLC. I make all executive and administrative decisions.
What are your hours of operation?
I operate the business, as sole owner on a 24/7 policy. I like to do canvassing and business prospecting at the beginning of the week from 8 AM to 3 PM Mondays to Thursday.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"Your products are different and I can taste how rich they taste.
