How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Manuel Colmenero was born near southern Barcelona in Spain and is known by most simply as � Manolo. As an associate of world-renowned Llongueras, he left his native country in 1992 to bring his talents, as an international hairstylist and image consultant, to the U.S. marketplace. Over the past 19 years, Manolo has continued his relationship with Llongueras while establishing his own name and a successful salon business in the fashion and retail center in Dallas, Texas. The many years of working with Llongueras � traveling throughout Europe, Mexico and the U.S. � have given this artist a truly global perspective for the definition of style. His career started as most � with education and extensive training in hair design, color chemistry and application, hair cutting techniques, as well as image consultation and make-up artistry. Working, teaching and producing hair shows that set the trends for the world to follow, inspired Manolo to broaden his career vision. Manolo Salons was launched offering a full range of hair and beauty services to its affluent clientele. From Barcelona and Mexico City to Miami and Chicago, Manolo has continued to actively participate in hairdressing events of worldwide importance.
