Our roots in Dallas began in 1955 when Richard Roach, our founder, sold his first insurance policy. Soon after Mr. Roach founded his firm he was joined by Leroy Howard, Max Smith, and Archie Hunter and in 1972, the firm name became Roach Howard Smith & Hunter, Inc. In Fort Worth, our firm’s other half, L.T. Barton Insurance, was founded in 1945, and became one of the most respected agencies in its region. Just like Mr. Roach, Barton’s success was based on personalized service and professional expertise that continuously exceeded client expectations. Roach Howard Smith & Barton has kept its roots in Dallas and Fort Worth, offering a comprehensive range of personal and global insurance services, employing more than 60 people, and generating more than $100 million annually in premiums. Our Dallas office is off Central Expressway (75) between Caruth Haven and Park Lane to the east of 75. Blackwell is the street which our building entrance is located. Take Caruth Haven if coming from South, or Park Lane if coming from North, go over to Greenville, turn west on Blackwell. We are in the NorthPark Central building with a large black granite wall around parking entrance. Fifth floor, Suite 500. Our Fort Worth office is off 1-30 and University Drive. Go south on University from 1-30 and at the first red light turn right, go to the second entrance for Centre II, South Side Bank building, 10th floor, suite 1000.

RHSB is independently owned and managed. We have implemented a plan for perpetuation to remain independent. As an independent company, we work with all carriers for the client's benefit, not the whims of Wall Street.
What are your hours of operation?
8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. 24hr Customer care hotline available for claims outside of office hours or on holidays.
