How long have you been in business?
Controls International, Inc. was founded in 1973 and was acquired by Rotork PLC, a UK-based public company [FTSE 150] traded on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol 'ROR' We manufacture valve actuators and damper drives, including design, machining, assembly and test at our facility in Dallas.
What is your primary product or service?
We manufacture flow control equipment used primarily to control the flow of liquids through pipelines and combustion air / flue gas through boilers, furnaces and process heaters. OUr brands include: * K-TORK Actuators + Controls * Type K Rotary + Linear Damper Drives
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
K-TORK and Type K products are recognized as the most accurate and reliable products in a market space that absolutely demands reliablity, water and wastewater treatment and power generation, both of which are our two lagest markets. Products for the water industry are fully AWWA-compliant and meet all ARRA 'Buy American' requirements
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Rotork has factory offices in 30 countries and Representatives / Agents in 130 countries.
