The company was founded in Dallas, TX in 1889 by Fred L. Lake and remained in the Lake family long after his death in 1934. The current owner, David Atwell, bought the business in 1992.
What is your primary product or service?
Rubber stamps, embossers, stock certificates, seals, name badges, nameplates, engraved awards and gifts.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was looking for a manufacturing business to buy after spending 10 years in banking and equipment leasing sales.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our philosophy is simple, quality is what people will order more of and pay more for; service is what keeps them coming back for more!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
No plans for expansion at this time.
