Our private lessons are offered at your convenience. During each private lesson you and your family will work one on one with your dog and Market. No dog is too old to train, however, we recommend starting as soon as possible. Our Standard Curriculum is used in all our Training Programs and is designed for both puppies and untrained adult dogs.

Mark Minnerly is a CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL Dog Trainer and holds the title from the International Association of Canine Professionals. Prior to establishing The Dallas Dog Trainer as a sole proprietor January of 1987, Mark Minnerly spent 17 helping build the Alaska Pipeline and develop the oil fields of Prude Bay Alaska. After attending the University of Alaska, Mark spent a year as Assistant and Box office Manager of the Fairbanks Symphony and Tour Manager of the Artic Chamber Orchestra. In addition, he spent 3 years in the US Army during the end of the Vietnam War in the early 70�s.
After establishing The Dallas Dog Trainer Mark Minnerly worked as a personal dog trainer where he met his clients at their homes. He began teaching group dog training classes in 1990 and then in 1993 decided to move forward, built, and began operating a training kennel.
Over the past thirty years Mark has operated a variety of dog clubs. One was a very popular working dog club where the focus was on personal protection and agility training. For several years he also operated an active Gun Dog Club. Its purpose was to develop retriever skills and produce reliable hunting dogs.
Mark was retained by the Dallas Company DT Systems as their dog training consultant. He helped them with research, development, customer relations and represented them at six consecutive Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Shows.
Mark has appeared on television in Dallas as well as across the country numerous times. In 1995 Mark wrote, directed, produced and starred in Unleash the Power, a one hour video on practical methods to train the family dog. Over 8,000 copies of Unleash the Power have been sold world wide.
In 1997 Mark wrote, produced and starred in Canine College, which was a feature of Dr. Jim�s Great Pets, a 13 week television show about pets and pet care. The first three episodes appeared on channel 13, Dallas� local PBS Station. The show is still available to networks around the world.
He appeared on channel 4�s Good Day Dallas several times and channel 11 with Operation Kindness to present a program on Dog Bit Prevention designed to educate children on how to avoid being attacked and bitten by dogs.
Mark Minnerly is a current member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, member number 1020, as well as a registered Canine Good Citizen Test Evaluator with the American Kennel Club and a member of The Mexico Kennel Club. He is currently published monthly by C & C Pets.
Mark has served as an expert witness in the courts of Dallas, Farmers Branch, Plano and Houston and Green River Co.

My more than thirty years of background, knowledge and experience sets the standard for dog trainers in Texas and across the globe.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I do not plan to expand. For fifteen years I built and operated the largest and most successfully Dog trading Center in Texas. I sold that property in 2012 to downsize my business to just me working from my home. I consider myself semi retired. MY SERVICE IS VERY EXCLUSIVE in that I only work with one client at a time.

I opperate from my home at 3730 Pageant Place Dallas Texas. Located in North Dallas, I only accept one board and train into my home wher the dog gets my full attention 24/7. I also travel to my clients homes two to three times a week.
What type of payments do you accept?
I prefer to be paid with cash however I do accept checks.
Which areas do you service?
I HAVE WORK WITH DOGS ACCROSS THE STATE OF TEXAS, ARKANSAS, OKLAHOMA, NEW MEXICO AND COLORADO. I have trained dogs in The Bahamas and Mexico. THROUGH MY VIDIO PROGRAM AND TELEVISION SERIES I have been able to HELP DOG OWNERS WORLD WIDE.

Office hours of opperation are Monday through Saturday between 9am and 6pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That I am kind and very patient with the dogs I train. That I motivate my clients to be knowledgeable loving gardens to their dogs and that I am funny and entertaining in my approach.
