How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1995
What is your primary product or service?
Our services are free and we sell Vacation Packages of all kinds. We have fantastic River Cruises to offer you and/or other Cruises to fit any cruiser. We can send you anywhere you want to go, anywhere in the world. We do the shopping for you to find the best qualified package or River Cruise or Cruise of any kind.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Husband loved to travel so I got interested in being a travel agent....even though I went to travel school, mostly experience has taught me! I bought my own agency in 1995 and now have 11 agents to serve you.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are an A+ Accredited Business with the BBB and it is our job to help people enjoy having a WONDERFUL Vacation without all the hassle. Our services are still free although most other agencies are now charging a fee for what we do. All our Agents are well traveled and very experienced. We also have a good report with all the suppliers and know which ones to use for the best results. Call JoyRide Travel, you'll be so glad you did. We also offer a payment plan for anyone that needs or wants one.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have only ONE main office here in Duncanville, Texas, but our agents are all over the Metroplex working from the comfort of their homes. We also have an agent in Oklahoma and also one in Albuquerque. We cut the overhead so we can give a free service to our clients. You can choose one of our agents to be your "personal" travel agent who will know your likes and dislikes and plan accordingly for your vacations.

We mostly work on email, website, and phone and mail.....you hardly will ever need to have to come to our location...but if you do, I'm here to serve you. My office is located in Duncanville and I'll be glad to meet with you. I work with clients by appointment only as I have a home office.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all credit cards, money orders, cashiers checks, direct deposit into our bank account from yours, or cash...all types of payments can be made. We also offer an payment plan for anyone that needs or wants it.
Which areas do you service?
We can serve anyone in the USA, however, most of our clients are located in Texas, Oklahoma or New Mexico. We do a lot of Destination Weddings & Family or Friend reunions so we know how to work with people outside of our states.

What are your hours of operation?
Most of my agents work almost 24/7, but we all prefer 8-6 M-F....but someone will almost always answer your call but, if none of us can answer, please be sure to leave us a message so the next available travel agent will always return your call as soon as possible.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment is when the same person calls us back for their next trip. The next best compliment is Referrals and more Referrals....that is where we get MOST of our business....
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Phil 3:13&14 In Paul's letter to the Philippians he told them he has NOT achieved it, but is focused on the one thing of looking forward to what lies ahead pressing on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us". All I ever want to do is to strive to be the best I can be for this life and to meet the needs of the people I serve.
