Community Theatre at its Best!
Denton Community Theatre produces at least 6 productions annually, plus children's programs, adult education, outreach programs, and fundraisers. Housed in the historic Campus Theatre, DCT won the American Association of Community Theatre's national competition in 2007. We also have a smaller venue - POINTBank Black Box Theatre which opened in 2010 and has been very popular for smaller, sometimes edgier productions.

Live theatre productions.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was a volunteer for 20 years before coming to work as the Office Manager and Communications Director.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a non-profit with all volunteer actors and techs. In 2007 our cast/crew of Crowns won the national AACTFest competition and were invited to perform at an international festival in Germany.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a mainstage at the historic Campus Theatre and our POINTBank Black Box Theatre for smaller productions.
