How long have you been in business?
Since 1981 Business Brokers Network was founded in Dallas, TX and was located on LBJ FWY near Greenville Avenue until construction started to expand LBJ FWY and then we re-located to Richardson< TX near our present location.
What is your primary product or service?
Business Brokers Network (BBN) is a Full Service Business Brokerage Firm representing business owners and buyers to sell or acquire businesses. Our services include business value enhancement activities as well as preparing a business to be sold, developing professional business valuations for the seller or buyer and locating and listing specific type and size businesses for qualified buyers to acquire. Another major activity of Business Brokers Network (BBN) is locating and recruiting qualified individuals interested in becoming professional business brokers. Business Brokers Network (BBN) provides members professional training, Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and numerous business brokerage services essential to successfully representing business owners to sell their business and qualified business buyers to locate and acquire an appropriate business. Training and services provided by Business Brokers Network (BBN) to Affiliation Members is required for each Affiliation Member and is paid, in part, to Business Brokers Network (BBN) from income generated by Affiliation Members from business brokerage activities introduced to them by Business Brokers Network (BBN).
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I first became involved with clients interested in either selling or buying a business during the early years of my career working as a professional accountant and business financial consultant. Clients often requested assistance and advise regarding the sale or purchase of a business or businesses. After merging my accounting business in 1989 with a major international accounting firm, by 1992 I was devoting almost all of my work week to business brokerage and financial consulting activities. Later in 1999, my son and I became aware of the services offered by Business Brokers Network (BBN) in Dallas, TX. Our primary motivation for joining Business Brokers Network (BBN) was to obtain access to an excellent business valuation program that was developed by the principals and founders of Business Brokers Network (BBN) and was made available to their Affiliation Members at prices attractive to almost all business owners and serious business buyers, regardless of the size or type of their business. In 2005, the sole remaining member of the founding families invited me become a member of the management team and to to work at the national headquarters of Business Brokers Network (BBN) in Dallas, TX.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Business Broker Network (BBN) differentiates itself from other business brokers and firms significantly by effectively delivering to all Affiliation Members the required Training and Continuing Professional Education (CPE). Additionally, we are very careful about the personal and professional qualifications of prospective membership candidates that we offer membership in Business Brokers Network (BBN). One significant result of this policy is that our Affiliation Members are well educated and most of them have earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or other similar education and they actually list and sell businesses that are, "on-average" about five times the size of businesses sold by others in the business brokerage industry and, thereby, earn significantly more commissions than most other business brokers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Business Brokers Network (BBN) is a national organization with offices in most major cities in the United States and Canada. We have numerous offices in other cities in the United States and representation in all fifty states and in all ten provinces in Canada. The recession in the United States that begin in September, 2008, created circumstances that caused numerous BBN Affiliation Members to abandon business brokerage and seek other means of earning money. Since 2008, we have re-invented Business Brokers Network (BBN) regarding our Training and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and recruiting for new candidates for membership at Business Brokers Network (BBN) by utilizing the internet more extensively and more effectively and at less cost to our membership.

At Campbell Road turn west and go to the first traffic light; turn left at North Collins Blvd. and go three blocks on North Collins Blvd. to a three story brick building identified as " The Atrium " located on the right side of North Collins Blvd. and further identified with the street address, number 1701.

Payment in advance with approved check, Visa, Master Card and some others.
Which areas do you service?
All fifty (50) states and Canada.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are privately owned and Zack Tannery is President and the general manager.

9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday except for major holidays.
